Our Story

Canal Custom Builders

Canal Custom Builders LLC was founded by two aspiring young contractors who share a love for their community and a desire to help their fellow neighbors in the construction and remodeling field.

Both local Richmond natives, Christopher Lewis and Hunter Cowan find themselves with a drive and a passion to continue to build and keep up the beauty of the local area. Both men, sharing an extensive background in craftsmanship and construction management set out on their own after years of learning the ins and outs of the field with one goal in mind: to make their clients dream homes a reality.
